Velour-Faced Robes

A velour face is terry with the loops sheared flat. It looks and feels expensive, takes a printed or embroidered mark beautifully, and it is the robe guests photograph.

The honest part is that shearing the loop reduces absorbency, because the loop was the absorbency. So a velour robe faced on both sides is a decorative garment. Ours are velour outside and terry loop inside, which puts the plush surface where it is seen and the working loop against the skin.
